When the traditional Tianjin quick rolling shutter door encounters mechanical failures or electrical control line failures, and the door body cannot be raised or lowered through the power transmission system, it can be opened by using a manual lever inserted at the tail shaft of the motor. One hand pulls the motor brake and the other hand rotates the lever to open the door. The disadvantage is that a stepladder or climbing equipment is required according to the height of the door to complete the operation. In case of major door failures, only one person cannot complete the opening of the door.

The motor is not moving or has a slow speed. 

Causes of failure: Generally, it is due to broken circuits, motor burnout, failure to reset the stop button, operation of the limit switch, or excessive load, etc. 

Solution: Check the wiring and reconnect; Replace the burned-out motor; Replace the button or press it several times; Move the limit switch slider to detach it from the microswitch contacts and adjust the position of the microswitch; Check if there is any obstruction in the mechanical part; If so, remove the obstruction and clear the debris.

2. Control failure 

Location and cause of the fault: The contacts of the relay (contactor) are stuck, the micro-motion switch is malfunctioning or the contact pieces are deformed, the locking screw of the slider is loose, the screws of the guide plate are loose causing the guide plate to shift, resulting in the slider or nut being unable to move with the screw rod rotation, the transmission gear of the limiter is damaged, and the up and down keys of the button are stuck. 

Solution: Replace the relay (contactor); replace the pushbutton switch or contact; tighten the slider screw and reset the stop plate; replace the limit mechanism gear; replace the button. 

3. The pull chain is not moving. 

Fault cause: The ring chain is blocked in the cross slot; the pawl fails to disengage from the ratchet; the chain presser frame is jammed. 

Solution: Straighten the circular chain; adjust the relative positions of the pawl and the chain press frame; replace or lubricate the pinion shaft. 

4. The motor is experiencing significant vibration or noise. 

Fault causes: Imbalance or fracture of the brake disc; Loose installation of the brake disc; Oil depletion or failure of the bearings; Inconsistent gear meshing, oil depletion or severe wear; Motor current noise or vibration. 

Solution: Replace the brake disc or re-adjust the balance; Tighten the brake disc nut; Replace the bearing; Repair or replace the output gear of the motor shaft, lubricate or replace; Inspect the motor; If the motor is damaged, replace it.
